I'm looking forward to seeing it, but, as usual, I'll be waiting for it on DVD.
Since I put together my home theater about 11 years ago (well, on my 2nd one now since we are in the new house) I probably get out to the theater once or twice a year. I think one year when LoTR, one of the Harry Potter movies, and one Star Wars movie was out I made it to the theater three times (because some movies just NEED to be seen on the big screen).
I didn't get into Home Theater just to 'have one', I did it because I just simply got tired of all the jackassery that goes on in theaters. Kids, talking, cell phones, etc. all just a giant PITA when I'm trying to enjoy a movie. I don't cope well with that, so I decided to go my own and have loved it ever since.
On the few odd occasions I go the theater now, I try to go to the first show of the day on a weekday to avoid as much jackassery as possible. It still happens, but with less folks I know who to throw my M&Ms at.
