I got great news today!

I got some good news tonight. One of our fellow forum members is a Lexus technician and looked up my IS350 in the Lexus system. Apparently (unknown to the dealer) it has the $1,500 HKS cat-back exhaust system installed as well as the rear ground effects kit ($500). (After reading the PM I had to run down to the garage to check. I'm stoked!)

Nice unknown bonuses. I just went from getting a great deal to getting a freakin' great deal on this car!

I was looking at the exhaust the other day and thinking to myself it looked too good to be a stock exhaust system. Yay me.

Lol. It does sound nice going through tunnels at 6K RPM. Not at all, "Lexus-like"

What I DO miss is bolstered seats. Hard cornering sucks on slippery leather seats with anemic bolsters. Of course, I contributed to the slipperiness with a full clean and leather conditioning job last weekend.

I am feeling a bit 'Tiff'-like when playing about

It really doesn't take much at all to get VDIM hooting at you with any amount of gas as the back end likes to break loose in spirited cornering. And, frankly, until I get more time behind the wheel, I'm afraid to turn it off.

and the description of the car beeping at you incessantly sounds accurate.. heh
