Spy Shots: Acura TSX - Autoblog

He'd been seeing the silver sedan for a few days, and was finally able to think quickly and grab the camera phone. What we know as the Acura TSX is the rest of the world's Honda Accord. Being their bread and butter sedan, Honda's not gone out on a limb here, but what we can make out is a pleasing evolution from the current TSX/Euro Accord. Having experienced the cavernous new Accord, we find the TSX a bit more "right-sized" when you think in terms of sports sedans. Hopefully, sporty moves will be delivered by Honda's SH-AWD hardware, with the RDX's turbo-fed mill providing the twist -- at least that's what we're praying for. Production is expected to start later this year.

Janizary's thoughts:

Little that has already not been beaten to death on speculation. I love the idea of a 260ish HP RDX pump in the TSX, or the alternate speculation of a J35 making an appearance. (I need to go look up the weight difference between those two engines) The rumored 'Type-S' variant with either of those engines and SHAWD is 'almost' as attractive as the rumored TL with 300HP and SHAWD. It would be an easy choice for me if the TL appeared though...

I like the front end. I also like the idea of RDX powerplant. More pics and specs are needed for final judgement.

Looking at it again, it looks like an ES350 in its styling.
