Default Drove a 128i today.

I ran over to Cain BMW in North Canton, OH. They've got three 1s in stock. There's a 128i convertible, 128i coupe and a 135i in black. All had automatic transmissions. They've got some with manuals on the way, both 128i and 135i.

Overall I really liked the car. The sport seats were a little snug for me in the back area, but I'm a bigger guy. The regular seats fit me better and still seem to provide enough support. Interior fit and finish was excellent, but lacked floor mats.

The 128i suspension was compliant, soaking up all those NE Ohio expansion joints and the occasional pothole. I never pushed the car so I didn't get an idea its full handling ability. It just felt firm, quiet and well-built with more than adequate power and braking for a daily driver.

Cain BMW also has two M3s in stock. A white coupe and a black sedan. Simply stunning.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, there was no $30,000 market adjustment on the M3 Sedan as seen here.

Heh, I don't expect all BMW resellers to add markup to their cars, just those in high-demand and very affluent areas.

Or idiot dealers who set their reserver on their EBAY'd M3 too low.

I need to get over and drive a 1er except they were all reserved locally so nothing just yet. One of the things I actually miss alot having moved to the IS350 is the sport seats. I am used to be 'held in place' and now I feel like I am sliding around in my seat with any agressive corning at all.

So which M3 are you going to get Shem, the white coupe or the black sedan? Thanks for the write-up.

Well, since we're talking hypothetically, I'll take both.

nice to see they didn't have insane markups
It seems floormats are missing everywhere in the case of the 1series so far. Interesting writeup. I'll have to scan the car and driver review they have in this months mag. Their complaint was the floor area for the driver. Making it sound that the trans area made the area cramped.
